What do you think about the way that the, that Brian Wright, that RC Buford, that, that, that Mitch Johnson, the whole Spurs bank- brain trust has built what they've built around Victor Wembanyama, and, and how do you see the state of this basketball program coming off their return t- to the NBA finals?

Well, I think that the brass, whether that be Brian Wright, Mitch, you know, all those guys, I think they have been very careful in how they built this team.

Like, I don't think they've deviated from what they said back when they first drafted Victor.

And they said that, "You know, hey, we gotta see what we have on the roster before we start really trying to, you know, build around him." And I think they've kinda just piece by piece, you know, they've done it.

But along the way they've had other guys develop, you know, like the Devin Vassells, you know, guys like that.

They developed.

And Julian Champagnie.

But, um, just for the listeners of, and viewers, of Spurs Insider Podcast, what do you think the situation is with Dylan Harper, what his expectations are Of this coming season, his role, and what the Spurs' expectations of his role will be.

But, like, Dylan is what ...

He, he came into the league at 19, and he, he's just got that mentality, and you c- like, you know that he grew up around the game, his dad and everything.

Like, you know that, that, like, nothing is going to, to, to shake him.

And you see the way he's been playing so far in the finals, like, I mean, the physicality.

He's a kid, and he's playing against grown men with families that need to bring them checks home.

How many needles are getting used?

Uh, Michael Wright, what is going on with the Spurs and the pro- for- performance we've seen the last couple of games? Will they bounce back in Game 4?

I think...

I guess what I can say about what's going on, I think the physicality and the grind of the playoffs is finally starting to take, take a toll on a young team that has never been here before.

You know? And, and as of right now, they're, they're a little banged up in the backcourt, and that makes it tough on everybody because Miss Johnson, the coach, he just said recently that, you know, Victor is the guy that, you know, he's the guy that builds all the advantages, but it's those three guys in the backcourt.

You know? It, it, it's DeJounte Murray, it's Stephon Castle, it's Dylan Harper.

Those are the guys that help to exploit those, those advantages.

But the problem is those guys are...
