Got Colman Domingo for The Four Seasons, Paul W. Downs, uh, for Hacks, Harrison Ford for Shrinking, Nick Offerman for Margo's Got Money Troubles, Stephen Root for Widow's Bay, Michael Urie for Shrinking, and Tyler James Williams for Abbott Elementary.

Now, if I was running the, the Emmys, I would either pick Harrison Ford or Nick Offerman, 'cause I think Harrison Ford is been due for Shrinking, but, uh, I don't think it's gonna happen.

And quite frankly, I'm not sure any of the other characters really stand a chance against Stephen Root.

Who else have we not mentioned? Stephen Root.

Stephen Root, besting Harrison Ford and Paul W. Downs, Coleman Domingo, Nick Offerman, Tyler James Williams, Michael Urie for supporting actor.

As soon as he won, that was the real, like, okay, this is it.

So I met Michael Urie from Shrinking for the first time, and I swear to God, my new bestie.

We had so much fun on the carpet.

Totally got each other's humor.

How did this come to be? I've known Sam Pinkleton for a long time.

I took over for Michael Urie in Buyer and Seller off Broadway.

And Sam Pinkleton was the choreographer of that show.

He literally choreographed the two counts of eight that way.

Sitting in the audience and the power of that music impacting me and going, like, what we do really can be transformative for people.

And then my final, as a performer, I did the first ever non-New York production of the one-man play Byron Seller that Michael Urie did.

I did the first regional production ever.

And I remember standing backstage before the very first performance and going, you know, I've been performing for a long time in my life, but do I really, really, really believe that I'm enough as an actor for people to show up? And I went, it's me and a chair and a piano bench for the next 100 minutes.

The program is the film capture of the July 28, 2026 performance that took place at the Trafalgar Theatre in London's West End, with Escola back in their original role of Mary Todd Lincoln.

The performance also features Giles Torreira as Mary's husband, Bianca Lay as Mary's chaperone, Tony Match as Mary's husband's assistant, and Michael Urie as Mary's teacher.

The taped performance will debut on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max in 2027.
