Michael Turner

And then eventually later it was it was an actual force field, which is actually the origin they use in the new Supergirl movie.

But my but my personal favorite is actually the one from the the early 2000s when Jeff Loeb and Michael Turner and the Superman Batman comics they brought they brought in the.

So for anyone doesn't know, after Christ on Infinite Earths, they rebooted the Superman stuff and DC had this mandate that Superman was going to be the only crypto Kryptonian.

And that led to some jumping through hoops in order to try and get some of the extended Superman supporting characters and villains into it.

So Benitez took me to Top Cow.

This is when Michael Turner was still alive.

And it's funny because he took me into the studio and I started doing some just doodles there.

I was feeling like I was on top of the world.

Yeah.

And then I'm sure, I'm sure he never, he never knew.

I know Joe says, but, uh, but if that was the, that was the week, I think I got to meet, um, I got to meet Michael Turner before he passed.

It was kind of neat of an honor to meet him.
