But if you ever look at the numbers for any reason, then you should understand why I am so mad at Michael Truell, the CEO of Cursor, who has sold to X AI, who historically I have very much agreed with and been a defender of because he replied to my post showcasing the bad cost saying that in production, 4.7 uses around 5% more tokens than 4.6 for median requests and 20% to 30% more for P99 requests.

There's also a distribution shift of what users are willing to ask.
