There's something about navigating what felt like a pitfall for him as a second-year quarterback who was moving like a veteran by the time that that game started to turn around for this team.

To me, the New Orleans Saints learned and have a lot of hope in six here they know they have the right player under center and he's throwing to the right guy as well with chris olave out there who not only dominated from the outside but dominated from the slot 182 receiving yards in this game it was the most since michael thomas also had 182 receiving yards in week five of the 2019 season.

Uh, and that game or that season, he went on to have 1,725 receiving yards.

So we'll see what crystal hobby season looks like.

[laughs] I wouldn't say no knees.

I thought he actually looked pretty good in the, in the usage, although I did find it kind of funny that the broadcast talked about him like he was Michael Thomas.

Like, I don't know why they were just, "He's so good at running a slant route.

He can really run a slant route.

He runs slant rou-" It's like, guys, we're talking about a big, hulking, powerful, dominant wide receiver, and we're talking about him like he's Slant Boy 2.0. Now, Michael Thomas was a dominant, very good [laughs] wide receiver for those cou- I just thought the way they were talking about A.J. Brown made him sound more like Pop Douglas than, you know, A.J. freaking Brown.

Right.

So I thought, I thought that was kinda funny.

It was bold.

I'll say this, with Brock Bowers already going down for a couple games, I don't see him breaking Michael Thomas' reception record.

So I'm not doing any bragging about mine either as we get going here.
