Michael Peter Skelly

That same year, Tim had another lunch, this one in Houston, with Sarah Jewett, a former Slumber J frat crew supervisor.

michael skelly who a lot of people probably know because you know the book uh... uh... superpower is about him and his experiences with uh... building the wind company and then clean line and then now he runs grid united so very well-known entrepreneur super connector amazing amazing human uh... and i looked him up and i said hey you know i'm from houston originally but i think i'm gonna move back here and bring that bring this company fervo uh... to Houston because, you know, given the overlap with our drilling technology and, you know, what Houston's business ecosystem is built around with all the geology and the engineering skill here, Houston's the right place to headquarter the business.

And Scully said, that's great.

Let's get to know each other.

Yeah, Skelly's emails are always very short and very cryptic.

But when you get them, you heed them because you know that it's going to lead you somewhere unexpected and probably is going to change your life.

So this is what I've learned about emails for Michael Skelly that often say who knows what, but definitely don't elaborate on why he's sending them.

So he sent me something.
