You'll be hard pressed to find almost anyone better qualified to discuss the status of theoretical physics than Michael,

Once again, by any metric imaginable, at the absolute least, Michael Peskin and Nick Warner are dramatically more accomplished, more knowledgeable, more influential, and more relevant to the progress of physics than Sabina.

Although I would wholeheartedly argue that this is the case for all six of them.
