Michael Newbold

And, um, I remember when Steve Oliver, he no longer, longer plays for the club, but he was one who I didn't expect to, but put his arm around me and really coach and mentored me, you know? It wasn't until the 99 season where I had a full season then.

Um, Anistowie signed Dave Llewellyn, who went on to be our skipper the following year, and our skipper at Lords, and Mike Newbold joined the club as well.

They were two very good cricketers who joined from Brintons Ferry Steel.

And one of our bowlers for years, Nicky Barratt, he was a good, good left-arm seamer.

And, oh, he brought us...

He brought a different dynamic to the club.

So I mentioned earlier in '99 he joined us, uh, with Mike Newbold.

Mike couldn't play 'cause he was a pro and he was minor companies player.
