You're from the nationalist community, Michael.

Tell me how you feel about this.

I mean, 20 years on, we had violence here on the interface, which was probably some of the worst violence in the whole time of the Troubles, following the Orange Order parade being forced down Garvahy Road.

And Rosemary herself was murdered in a wireless bomb attack planted onto our yard in March 1999.

You had Michael McGoldrick.

He had been raised in Scotland.

His parents had been, had ported down connections, and he came back to live in the north during the era of peace, as they thought.

I mean, look, from my perspective, parading is part of the fabric of cultural life in Northern Ireland.

There are thousands of parades every single year that happen without any conditions, that happen without any... um contest whatsoever but we can't forget that the drum creed dispute was one of the most grim periods in our recent history it resulted in the loss of life i think of the quinn children of michael mcgoldrick of frank o'reilly and our uc officer who was murdered and so there is real trauma and real hurt right across our community associated with this with this dispute and from my perspective the vast majority of people in our community be they unionists be their nationalists be they none of the above They don't want to be dragged back to those divisions of the past.

They don't want to refight old battles.

They want to have a conversation about how we move forward and build a shared future and how we have a vision for that.

I'm not, as I said earlier, I'm not advocating for Billy Wright or what he's done or what he's involved in, but at the same time, convicted terrorists are commemorated everywhere around Republican areas.

Do you remember Michael McGoldrick? Do you remember that name?

I do, I do.

Mr. McGoldrick was a taxi driver.

The murder of Mr. McGoldrick was reportedly carried out as a birthday present for Billy Wright.

Now, how sick is that? A birthday present to murder someone.

That was the gift to Billy Wright, the murder of Mr. Michael McGoldrick.

And meanwhile, our public authorities, Liz Kimmins doesn't know what to do.

Well, obviously, we just look at the facts.

We had the death of Michael McGoldrick, who was killed by a UVF group in Lurgan during the standoff.

Robert Hamill was killed by a Loyalist mob in Portadown during the standoff.

Bernadette Martin was shot by Loyalists during the standoff.

They remember violence.

They remember Michael McGoldrick being killed.

They remember a lot of things that they don't...
