do there's a lot I like about it actually I like how little there is no equivalent to the scene where the father is on the phone explaining why the mom's not there it is it does kind of just drop you in and like Michael Anderson's character does explain some of the stuff but a lot of vocabulary is thrown out there that you're supposed to just kind of like pick up on I've read these two Stephen King books recently.

I really hated the first one and really kind of like the second one that gradually sort of tie into his Dark Tower series.

The movie is also very much in conversation with David Lynch's past work.

You get a little Twin Peaks action with, uh, Michael J. Anderson, the actor who spoke backwards in the Red Room in Twin Peaks.
