Michael Howes

So if they were to bring in somebody this week, potentially they could have enough time to start again next week against the Chargers.

So just some names that our friend of the show, Michael Howes, Baltimore Sun colleague, put together here over at BaltimoreSun.com. You mentioned Jimmy Garoppolo, Joe Flacco, who is the current backup with the Bengals.

Obviously, some ties there would be surprising to see the Bengals, who have their own injury-prone quarterback, trading from their depth there.

Gardner Minshew or Jacoby Reset with the Arizona Cardinals.

Well, you know where he lives, Matt, in the offseason? In Tampa.

So it's also easily accessible.

You get a chance to root on your friends who you've established these lifelong friendships with, and you get other guys who are on other teams on board.

And certainly in Tyler Glasnow's case, a team that was eliminated from the postseason, then I have no issue for what Zach Eflin stands for, and that's supporting his friends.

We're going to talk with Michael Howes from the Baltimore Sun.

He covers Maryland.

He's done a fantastic job covering everything that's happened with the team this year, including the departure of Mike Loxley and where – where Maryland's at right now as Illinois comes to town as a program and his expectations for the game as well.

Michael Howes from the Baltimore Sun is going to join us.

I don't know if we'll talk about anything tailgate related, but we are definitely going to talk with him about the Maryland Terps.

They ultimately end up parting ways in what...

Really had felt like it was inevitable at this point, so we brought on our colleague Michael Howes, and we'll get to an interview with him in just a little bit.

Later in the show, we'll also talk about the latest on Lamar Jackson and his ankle saga as it has become.

uh, with him logging a limited practice on Wednesday, but not really limited.

He's also a big into our high school beat as well, but also Terps, a Terp himself, somebody who knows this organization well, has done extensive reporting on the football program and Mike Loxley.

And with their firing of the head football coach earlier on Wednesday, I sat down with Michael to talk about everything that had to do going into that move and what comes next.

And we're now joined by our colleague, Michael Howes, who covers the Terps, among many other things, for the Baltimore Sun.

Michael, thanks for joining us.
