I get to lead us into week three in our Book 1 Corinthians.

Here at YouLife, we like to preach through at times, just take our time to preach through a book of the Bible.

So we're spending about the next three months in the Book of 1 Corinthians.

So we're still in chapter one.

It's been three weeks in chapter one.

So what do we do?

And the answer to the calling of the pilgrim people is actually a consecrated community.

That word consecrated means set apart.

Do you remember your mom's china growing up? You know, that special dish, those special dishes that she had that was only meant to be for special guests and they never came, so you never ate off them.

Like that's consecration, something that's set apart for a special purpose.

But unlike our mom's special china, the consecrated people of God are not set apart, never to be used.

They're set apart for the glory and purpose and holiness of God.
