And I'm like talking about like the structural relationship of, you know, this guy just keeps hanging around and he keeps getting jobs in Williams orbit.

So Earl Spencer went on to allege that the reason Diana wanted to divorce Charles was because she believed he was in love with his valet.

Now, Earl Spencer didn't name the valet, but media publications are now speculating he may have been referring to the king's former principal valet, Michael Fawcett.

Now, I wanna point out these are just allegations.

But what's really interesting is it's not the first time questions have been raised over Fawcett and Charles's close relationship.

The other major bombshell that was released ahead of time, ahead of publication, was that Diana reportedly told her brother that her husband was in love with his valet after she revealed to Earl Spencer that she was going to get divorced.

Most likely, people have kind of speculated, based on the time period, this would have been in reference to Michael Fawcett, who was Charles's valet.

Again, I think it's very important to remember this is Earl Spencer's account of what Diana told him.

And he's been very careful in his pre-publication interviews to say, well, I'm not saying it's true.

In a matter of eight words, writing in his new book about his tragic sister, Swan Song, the Earl has dusted off and reignited a decades-old rumor that King Charles had what amounts to a gay affair.

Speculation is the valet in the book refers to Charles' long-term aide, Michael Fawcett.
