[whooshing sound] On the other side of the River Liffey, John Russell went to yet another league game and had a win in charge of Shelbourne as they conceded in injury time to Derry City.

The main man himself, Michael Duffy, got the ball past Eddie Beach, allowing the Candy Stripes to head back up north with all three points after a one-nil win.

Derry City are without Barry Cotter, whose move to Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia was confirmed during the week.

Cotter faced off against his new teammates earlier in the summer in the Europa League first qualifying round.

I don't think Derry City necessarily beat Dundalk.

I think they got beat by Michael Duffy.

And poxy goals.

And in the other semi, Galway will host Derry City.

I think it got us into a very commanding position through Shane Tracy's goal.

I mean, I thought we were you know, Derry didn't look anything special, even maybe Michael Duffy aside, um, which was an unbelievable performance from him today.

But that aside, I mean, Derry didn't look too spectacular.

But that first half, obviously Ellis Chapman gets the headlines because there were two good finishes, but you can't get away with it.

And Alan praises Michael Duffy, it seems here weekly, because he seems to be the only one from Derry who stands up.

While over in Dalymount Park, Bohemians and Derry City gave us an instant classic as Bohs won 5-3 in the North Dublin ground.

Derry were on the front foot in the first half as Michael Duffy netted one midway through, but it was Bohs who dealt the big blow as three goals in five minutes from Patrick Hickey, Connor Parsons, and Douglas James Taylor swung the match.

To top it off, former Bohs player James Clarke saw red soon after for a reckless challenge on Parsons.

The Candy Stripes got one back through Tyler Smith soon after, but Ross Tierney put daylight between the two sides as he picked up a brace, including a potential goal of the season later on.

A consolation penalty scored by Michael Duffy rounded off the eight-goal thriller at Dalymount Park.
