Michael DeForge

And this is the stuff that I think like our shop is really special for- Mm-hmm ... our uplift of- Yeah ... of like smaller creators, so.

Like Li Lai was nominated, Michael DeForge was nominated.

Mm-hmm.

You know, and to have those names be in the same as- Mm-hmm ... little guys is cool to see.

And I love your career curation of comics.

So, so being able to see all of those things, I mean, and even now going through, going through artists, you know, issue one, we've got Matthias Berger, Michael Deforge, Richie Pope, James Romberger, Del Perez, Don, Tom Neely, Keenan Marshall Keller, Glow Dark, Suzanne Jana, Jana.

I don't know how to pronounce that one.

And Jean-Marc Asen.

Yeah.

I'd thought comics were Naruto, which I love, God bless, or Ranma or superheroes, but then realizing it could be this weird, poetic, kinda whatever the hell you want just kinda took me on this journey of seeing all those Adventure Time guys making stuff, reading Michael DeForge's stuff.

Um, yeah.

Oh, yeah, all the cameras in my room.

When I realized that indie comics were a thing, um, w- some of the first ones I started reading were ones by people who worked on Adventure Time because I was like, oh, my favorite cartoon, they also make comics? That's crazy.

Hmm.

So it was like Michael DeForge and Steve Wolfhard.

And I, I started reading comics-

Yeah, and I am small compared to them.

Watching Jesse Moynihan's work ethic, Michael DeForge's work ethic, transformative.

And they're good people.

I've done actually very little, but it's been a lot for me, and it's a big deal for me.
