Michael D. Steele

Um, very relaxed, very Special Forces way of doing business versus very regimented Ranger regiment way of doing business.

Um, and you know, Mike Steele, our company commander, former Georgia football player, uh, you know, he's a great commander, great soldier, um, but a very one-way, monolithic way of doing things and very aggressive way.

And, and not necessarily a, a flexible way where a lot of the leadership on, on the Delta side did business.

It's just different ways of doing business.

Um, and so big cultural things.

Gotcha.

Uh, now I will also say that Mike Steele didn't make all those calls, and a lot of people don't know that.

And I've told Mike this, you know, "You shouldn't get blamed for somebody else's decisions." But Mike approached it as, if these are the orders from our commanders and from, from other people, I'm gonna follow them and I'm gonna adopt them as my own.
