Oh, that's cute.

My big dog is named for Michael Cooper.

Do I have any connection to Michael Cooper, the basketball player? I do not.

Coop from the Lakers? Michael Cooper? From probably the 80s or 90s?

Yes.

Yeah.

I was fortunate to document the playing careers of all the Legends at this event and have seen firsthand how their championship experience can impact groups of all kinds.

It was a thrill for Matt and I to chat with legendary Lakers champions Michael Cooper, Byron Scott, and James Worthy on this episode, and Robert Ori and A.C. Green on part two next week.

Throw the other team off, but he brought the word team back into the game.

Team means together, everyone achieves more.

And when we all played, which all men I remember about that game, Jamal Wilkes had a high of 37, which was overshadowed by Magic, and Michael Cooper had his career high 17 points, which was overshadowed.

Yeah.

So I don't know this number.

But instead of Showtime, which the Lakers were back in the day, they were called Showtime when it was Magic and Kareem and everybody, Michael Cooper and down the list.

He now calls them, Shaq called them Snowtime because of the preponderance of white players on the Lakers.

I guess he can get away with that.

LeBron, even though he wouldn't start on the guy late in the ball game, he would defend the guy.

When I look at defending that, obviously, you look at a Ron Ortiz, you look at a Michael Cooper, you look at some of the better defensive players.

Okay, I'm not saying he has to be that.

But when I look at a defender, I'm looking at guys, okay, are they putting you on the best guy?

Vlade, Kurt Rambis was a great find.

Michael Cooper was, I think, a third round pick in 78.

And and so maybe second.

But but yeah, like it's ultimately all stems from really having some of the best people in the world in the decision making world.

There were feelings of whole seasons of just like being buoyed on like a purple and gold cloud of like excitement.

I love that.

Yeah.

He's gotta do it the Michael Cooper way.
