Michael Cho

Uh, Marquez was the other artist I knew I wanted to see and probably get a commission from because before I left for Baltimore, I did a search on Instagram for artists promoting themselves, uh, being at Baltimore Comic-Con.

When I found his work, uh, which was-- which I think of as kind of a mix between Michael Cho and Darwin Cook, I wanted to com- to commission him, uh, before I left for the sh- uh, for the con, but decided to wait in case he had some art already th- there that I wanted to buy.

Uh, actually, there was one person there who bought a sketch from him w- uh, when I went to his table the first time, and as he's, as he's getting it signed, I, I, I leaned over and said, "Good choice.

If you hadn't bought that, I would have." But at that point, like I said, when I s- stopped by that first time, I couldn't decide which character I wanted.

And, uh, You know what? For people who kind of want...

You know what? The last time I did that, and it was an event I didn't really care about, but Toronto's Michael Cho was doing all these really, really cool covers for some Marvel event called Empire.

What is that? What even was it?

Such a generic title.

And he's like, yeah, these are like one in 12 variants per issue.

And I was like, okay.

And so I asked Beguiling, okay, put me down for the next four issues in the Michael Cho variant.

Why not?

And I FaceTimed you because someone had a literal long box full of Miracle Man number ones uncirculated.

And I was like, how many you need, Richard? we should have bought that whole box oh what were you thinking um but you know uh what do you guys think are you excited about miracle man are you excited about david colton uh the avengers armageddon number four the michael cho variant is selling for 20 bucks already that came out wednesday you know just hold back wait it'll be back down to earth anytime sound anytime now I got to say, Michael Cho has been knocking it out of the park recently.

I love me some Michael Cho.

And it pretty much makes it clear that this rumor is 100% true.
