But Vic Fangio gave a vote of confidence to Epps this past week and said, you know, I think he's going to bounce back.

If there's one move that I could see happening is perhaps more of Michael Carter playing at safety to offset Epps occasionally at times.

We've already seen a little bit of that.

And he even said that, yeah, maybe we'll see more of Carter at safety.

It kinda reminds me of the cornerback position last year with Adore, where they, they...

Uh, and obviously, I think Epps is gonna start week three, so he's not there yet, but, like, when they benched Adore, then they brought in Keeley, then they traded for Jaire Alexander, and then they traded for Michael Carter.

I, I, I think they're not happy at safety is my guess, and I don't think they should be, 'cause that was a really rough performance.

I think Drew Macuba was okay.

Yeah.

I don't worry about Drew Macuba that much, but, um, yeah, I think they need somebody.

And why not just play Michael Carter at safety? Why don't-

So it doesn't look like he's doing it.

And that leaves, you know, Michael Carter or Kenny Moore and Kenny Moore doesn't have a history.

And Michael Carter doesn't have a history before this training camp of playing safety, trying to push Marcus Epps, basically, is where we are.

And I think the Eagles want somebody to replace Marcus Epps.

And when I say the Eagles, more Howie Roseman and probably Nick Sirianni want somebody to replace him.

And, you know, Vic...

it seems like his his mentality with michael carter's he's too valuable for his versatility he can back up at corner he can back up and slide he's the dime back he can back up at safety um it's too valuable as a a moving piece and now if you have two of those guys it would be easier to play one of them at safety and maybe improve that position.

So that's where I think they're going.

But, John, I think there's a

better chance Michael Carter goes to safety than the new guy.

And that then opens up this new guy being the backup to Cooper inside.

I think that's the more likely.

You know, Marcus had some plays that he would like to have back, both against the pass and the run, so, and he'll bounce back.

Any chance we'll

see a little more of Michael Carter moving forward?
