Michael C. Williams

Let me rattle off a co- a couple things here, 'cause I haven't really watched too much.

I watched a new movie for this year that actually Michael recommended to me 'cause he saw it at the Milwaukee Film Festival.

It's called, um, I'm gonna pronounce this wrong, but I believe it's Ma'atama, if I'm saying that correctly.

Technically from 2025, released in 2026.

She has 16 credits and hasn't really done much after this.

She was in one episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Season 1, Episode 2, as Stacy Corbelli, which is always hilarious to see her randomly pop up.

You've got Joshua Leonard as Joshua Leonard, who was also in Unsane as David Strine, and Michael C. Williams as Michael C. Williams, who was also in Altered, another Eduardo Sanchez project, as Otis.

Uh, estimated budget, it ranges.

Uh, yeah.

So, in October of 1994, film students Heather Donahue, Michael C. Williams, Williams, and Joshua Leonard entered the Black Hills Forest to shoot a documentary about the legend of the Blair Witch.

They would not return home again.

A year later, the footage they shot for said documentary was recovered from the woods.

And, you know, thinking about like, not trying to tell a sad story, but trying to make it feel like there's, you know, something a little bit more, cause it wasn't always just about the friend either.

It was, anyone who can connect with a with a sense of some losing somebody and so it wasn't trying to make it not super specific but also this sort of weird purgatory and then you know it all started coming together and i'm like i got it okay here we go we've got one side that is representing this you're passing on to the afterlife but you have this other side that represents it's getting a glimpse of all your strongest emotions one more time before You pass on, and this character who is absolutely incredible, Michael C. Williams from Blair Witch Project, he just brought it to another level.

Because when I had reached out to him, a lot of my music videos, I'm so fortunate to have worked with so many of these much bigger actors.

I pull them into my world of music videos as well.

I was 15, and it just, bam! It just rocked me.

And he's the guy who stands in the corner at the end of the movie, the famous sort of scene.

And so that's Michael C. Williams.

And being able to work with him at this level, it was just such a trip, man.
