I guess like from the moment she invites him up to her apartment to the moment that you see him leave, it's like there is a sense of like, yeah, there's the voyeurism aspect.

There is a sense of foreboding a bit, but it's also like, What's going to happen with these two? Are they going to start a relationship? Are they going to start a detective agency and solve mysteries together? Are they going to murder each other? Are they going to get high together? But it builds that nicely.

It does really feel like they are sticking to the script, and even perhaps more so.

I don't know the source material, I haven't read the book, but it feels like...

Both Sandy Dennis and Michael Burns are taking it as a challenge to

invoke these characters.
