Michael Bradford

Well, this was the American musician Uncle Kracker, real name Matthew Schaffer's debut solo single, which was released on November the 6th, year 2000.

It was the lead single from his first studio album, Double Wide, and was written by Kracker together with his bandmate Michael Bradford, and it was produced by the musician and Trump public health poster boy, Kid Rock.

For those unaware of Kracker, he came to prominence in the heady days of the 1990s as a turntablist for Kid Rock's backing group, Twisted Brown Trucker, and that musical education seemingly served him well, as Follow Me was a worldwide hit.

The song reached number one in eight countries, Australia, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland, and Sweden, and in the United States it top fived, peaking at number five on the Billboard Hot 100.
