Michael Andrews

So yeah, we haven't been there in probably a year.

Um, I think it's 81 where we mentioned Michael Andrews, who we met at TFCon Chicago, which 2018, which is what we're gearing up for during this whole credit sequence.

Wow.

Yeah.

It's almost like this announcement meant nothing.

Life is meaningless.

So a quick shout-out r- before we get into it here, um, this is a friend of the show, writer, reader, raconteur, and longtime listener, Michael Andrews, AKA Will Write for Pizza-

Mm-hmm

And yeah, this was our first time meeting Mike Seibert in person.

And Mike Andrews, Michael Andrews.

That's right, which was a surprise.

We didn't know that.

That's right.

But it's not, so they won't.

It's also interesting because Michael Andrews was like right in front of us in line while we were trying to get our wristbands.

Oh,

Oh, we're going to get to possibly... my most favorite use of the checkoff device that we you know we've had so many over the years cargo we've had dozens upon dozens upon dozens upon dozens of weird checkoffs whatever something that is mentioned or highlighted early in the film that definitely comes back in a prominent way later The one we're going to talk about for this movie is actually a Chekhov's deflection because you think it's Chekhov's this when it's actually Chekhov's that and we will fucking get there.

But I do just want to throw some love to the character of Michelle, who is actually Michael, is played by Michael Andrews, who was also in Avenging Angel, just to bring that movie up again.

and also won Miss Gay America the pageant in 1977, which is apparently, or was at the time, I don't know if it's still continuing, like the prominent pageant for female impersonators.

And again, that line, so the girl is a guy and the guy is a plant, is just...

I keep coming back to it.

There's a study that Michael Andrews had done.

This was in the 19th century American colleges scenario.

And he had compared the counties that... got patents with the runner-up counties that were shortlisted.

Last year, I got to go to the Doughmaking Workshop by Will Grant and also a workshop with Nick Bogat.

So this year, I'm most excited to sit in on Michael Andrews' workshop about starting your first pizzeria.

Oh yeah, that's going to be a really good one.

To echo Kate, I was going to say I'm obviously excited about everything, but the educational lineup really kind of has me pumped up.
