Once again, our guests are Michael Despezio, biology and science educator, and Dr. Kian Solari, urologic oncologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and a member of the MPCC Medical Advisory Committee.

Once again, we open it up with Michael, who reflects on the advances in technology and our understanding of genetics.

Michael, it's true, isn't it, that prior to this amazing science, it was anecdotal.

Oh, I think I had an uncle or a great uncle or a grandfather or a great grandfather, but I'm not sure.

We never really knew the answer.

You can say at least that there's at least some part of the tumor that's higher risk, and that might be the driving force of your decision-making appropriately.

And so there's maybe, you could say, less of an issue on the high side, but a potential false reassurance if there's a low score.
