but we take time to introspectively consider our last year, to approach the throne of God asking for forgiveness for anything that comes to mind, and then we symbolically throw the breadcrumbs into the water.

Now, the breadcrumbs going into the water doesn't legitimately mean actually do anything for us but it reminds us of the beauty of god's forgiveness and how far his forgiveness truly goes because as the breadcrumbs hits the water the current takes it away the fish come up and eat it uh whatever it may be it's not long before all of the breadcrumbs are gone and it's a beautiful symbolic reminder to us today of the spiritual promise of Micah 7, that God will forgive our sins, and they will be as though they were cast in the sea, and to never be seen again.

So, we will do Tashlik at the bay after Oning, and I said this last night, I'll say it again later, it's really important to understand, every year, somebody comes to me and says, what time are we going to the bay? And the answer is we have no clue because it's after Oneg.

This is an interaction with God's promise of forgiveness in Micah 7, 18 through 20.

I watch in hope for the Lord.

I wait for God my Savior.

My God will hear me." Micah 7:7.

That's powerful.

The flames will not set you ablaze." Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord.

'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'" Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." And Micah 7:7, "As for me, I look to the Lord for help; I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me." We're with you, brother.

You know what? I'm done." That is not his response.

His response is always what it looks like in Micah 7:19-20.

It says, "Once again, you will have compassion on us.

You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean.

They seek men who will occupy a title, repeat the approved message, and protect the system.

Micah 7, verse 2 says this, The good man is perished out of the earth, and there is none upright among men.

The prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward.

The best of them is as a briar, and the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge." When the good man perishes, corruption becomes coordinated.

He is slow to anger and of great kindness, because he delighteth in mercy.

Jonah 4, 2 and Micah 7, 18. god has bound our hearts to him by unnumbered tokens in heaven and in earth through the things of nature and the deepest and tenderest earthly ties that human hearts can know he has sought to reveal himself to us yet these but imperfectly represent his love though all these evidences have been given.

The enemy of good blinded the minds of men so that they looked upon God with fear.

They thought of him as severe and unforgiving.

Took me nine years to graduate, but I've been serving the Lord ever since.

Micah prophesied during a time when Israel had fallen away from God and was captured by the Assyrians.

Yet Micah chapter 7 verse 19 says of the Lord, He will turn again.

He will have compassion upon us.

He will subdue our iniquities, and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

You will extend truth to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, that you swore to your ancestors from the days of old.

That was Micah 7.
