And then also Yao Miao.

And if I'm not mistaken, I don't know that Tony and Yao Miao have even run 100 miles yet.

Yeah, I think you're right.

I think that's correct.

So, so obviously Toni would be going through her own demons because the previous year sh- she was in a great place, had to pull out of the race.

Um, without doubt a favorite for CCC, along with yourself and along with Miao Yao.

So we've got three past CC wi- CCC winners.

And the, the race goes to plan.

Toni is up at the front.

Miao Yao is in contention.

They're trading blows, and I'm looking at the live feed going, "Oh, no, Yngvild, is it-- Are you not having a good day? Oh, shit.

Come on, Yngvild.

And I think last year, a lady called Tony McCann won and she was in the lead.

And then another lady called Yao Miao came past her.

And then I, at one point, I could see that, like, you can just see, like, whether people look tired or not, can't you, sometimes.

And it looked like Tony McCann had kind of got a second wind.

And then Tony McCann ended up being second.

And so not too far behind, five minutes behind.

And then Yao Miao came third in the end.

So that was quite exciting to see, because they were just jostling for position there.

Yeah, coaching 1-2 in CCC is super badass.

Um, yeah, and then the most interesting part from the women's race [laughs] outside of the incredible performances was at, when Tony McCann was leading and was being chased by Yao Miao.

It's, you, you say their family name first usually for the Asian athletes.

I learned that on the broadcast from, um, the amazing broadcaster Steph Case, who was out there.

Behind her in second place, Toni McCann, a previous champion, 12:06:14, about five minutes back.

Yao Miao, Chinese athlete in third place, 12:15:41.

And then let's just throw Jen Lichter in here too in fourth place before I toss it to you.

Great performance from Jen, 12:24:01, roughly 23 minutes back of the win.

I just wanna recognize, again, the golden ticket conversation here.

It sounds like Tony McCann is coming to Western States.

I'm gonna be talking about that for the next 10 months, everybody, okay? What I'm also gonna be talking about, if Yao Miao accepts a golden ticket to Western States, my goodness, is that the best opportunity that China has ever had to potentially win North America's most significant race.

And then I just want to give a shout-out to Jen Lichter, man.

Uh, the heat impacts things more than, than ever.

Just watching, uh, uh, Miao Yao push into the lead in the women's race at, uh, at CCC with Honoka Akiyama and Toni McCann in third behind her.

It is gr- it is great to watch.
