Miami Book Fair International

Peter has two upcoming events locally in Florida, Friday, November 20th, 7 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble in Tequesta, Florida, a couple of hours north of Miami.

And you'll also be at the major prestigious Miami Book Fair on Saturday, November 21st at 11 a.m., And that's moderated by ESPN Don Van Natta, who's a super good investigative reporter.

So, Peter, thank you for joining us.

I just had Aikman in Dallas the other day.

I had Mina Kimes out in L.A., That sort of thing's been fun.

And then the next day, on the 21st of November, I'll be at the Miami Book Fair with Don Van Natta.

So I'm excited about those things.

And they're, they really are exceptional.

I will be going to the Miami Book Fest, Miami Book Fair in November.

So it's, it's wonderful.

And apparently it's like 300,000 people or something come to Miami for the fair

They have a couple.

And the Miami Book Fair is coming up in November.

I think it's the 15th or the 22nd.

And they're a big part of it.

And a couple people I spoke to said this is like a big event in November.

So if you find yourself in South Florida, go to the Miami Book Fair.

It looks amazing.

Great lineup of authors there.

And Bel Canto is an amazing book if you haven't read it.

Next, I'll be at Yallfest in Charleston, South Carolina and the Miami Book Festival where I'll be in conversation with someone pretty awesome, which we're going to announce soon.

Before I'm officially done with Young World events, I'm two chapters from finishing Damager.

So we are getting close.

I'm still on my fall tour, meaning I'll be at the Southern Festival of Books in Nashville starting tomorrow for the next few days.

Then I'll be at YALLFest in Charleston, South Carolina, uh, in M- mid-November, and the Miami Book Festival towards the end of November before I'm officially done with Young World events for the time being.

Then I'll head to India in November and December with Damager finished, and then I'll come back in the new year to move on from my neon nuke Mr. Soman Goes to Washington incarnation into a brand-new Damager era, which will have a very, very different feel and look.

Um, I'm excited to Madonna, you know, reinvent myself once again and show a different side of myself.

I had taken a leave of absence to, to work on a book with my mother at that time, and it was one of the first assignments I, I got when I returned, and Anne Rice was all capital letters Anne Rice.

Like, when she was coming to the Miami Book Fair, there were lines around the block for her because she was so popular.

So I t- didn't tell her that I wanted to be a novelist, you know.

I've, I've had journalists interview me since then where I realize that's a thing.

I'm doing St. Louis Teen Book Festival, October 9th and 10th in St. Louis, the Southern Festival of Books International.

in Nashville, October 16th to 19th, Yallfest in Charleston, November 14th and 15th, and the Miami Book Festival, November 19th through 21.
