Mexican Baseball League

Uh, tons of injuries as well, and he has never made it to the majors.

And, uh, the last couple years he has pitched, uh, in, uh, the Mexican league where he hasn't looked too bad, so the Orioles are gonna give him a shot in the minors.

Again, he is now 32 years old, but looking good again over the last couple years in, uh, the, uh, Mexican league.

So we've seen the Orioles do this quite a bit last year, uh, signing a lot of guys to minor league deals and seeing what they look like in spring training.

So it doesn't hurt to try and, uh, give some of these guys opportunities.

Now, here's a tangent you're not going to expect.

But, Michael, in the Mexican Baseball League,

they

actually do have a post-regular season little draft thing where players get loaned from non-playoff teams on the playoff team.

We want to highlight baseball in other places.

In Mexico, they're going to be transitioning from the LMB, the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol, to the LMP.

Shoot, I forget that.

BP, I think, the Béisbol de Pacífico.

Yeah.

So the LMB, they are the winners, but he had him up there on the podium.

You saw Cody Bellinger with his daughters, like when, when he went up for his, um, what is it? All-star game MVP.

So like, you also see them incorporating them into those things.

Breves.

On Tuesday night, while you are going to be at Peckham Park, I am going to be in Tijuana watching the Tijuana Toros.

okay play in the serie del rey so the uh the king series as it is the mexican league world series the manager of that team is roberto kelly bobby kelly who is on staff who is on with the san francisco giants part of that coaching staff for years that was successful that one he won at least two world series titles maybe three he might have been there for all three of them I don't know.

I don't know where San Francisco is going, and it's not really my concern.

It's just an observation that Roberto Kelly, who I think wants to manage in the big leagues, is successfully coaching in Mexico with Justin Turner and a whole bunch of guys with San Diego ties, including Danny Camarena.
