Metropolis Street Racer

um any racing games that you enjoyed on the dreamcast

oh i had speed devils nice uh that was that was very cool um it was it was all like based around films instead so like you were racing around these back film lots and stuff like that and you had your your own power-ups which was which was good msr metropolis street racer yeah yeah yeah that was great as well um oh god

There weren't many.

No, there weren't.

He knows he's got to get the quality AAA titles lined up.

And to be fair, if you were a Dreamcast user at the time, you know, Shenmue, Metropolis Street Racer, 355, Crazy Taxi, 18 Wheeler, you know, you were happier than a, a pig in, in its own mess, RGT.

Mm.

But at this time, Sega were looking on a knife edge.

I got Sonic Adventure in, like, a demo disc, like I always do.

I traded my soul and every other game that I had to get this Dreamcast, and brought it home, and Sonic Adventure wowed, to be honest with you.

And then I started picking up games like Crazy Taxi, Sega Bass Fishing, Shenmue, Metropolis Street Racer, and it was like, "Wow, this is just, this is just ..." And you looked at what everyone else was doing, and it was just going nowhere.

I think I encouraged a mate.

So we're just, we're just gonna end up going through everything we had here.

We had some, uh, um, Metropolis Street Racer because I couldn't fit it in anywhere else, because it's always difficult to fit in somewhere.

But it's Rub KTA on this pass around, going for a, uh, take on the, uh, one of the tunes from that game.

I Am Only Dreaming, the Rub KTA Sleepers Syndicate remix, which is part of, uh, the Radio Sega album, 10 Years of Sega Years, which you can check out on the 24/7 stream and on radiosega.bandcamp.com for free.
