I'll be your host for today's episode.

And on this episode, instead of highlighting recent research from PRISM members, we're kicking off something new, which will hopefully be a recurring series focused on providing some tips for the PRISM membership around research methods and statistics.

Research is such a core part of the mission of PRISM, and so we wanna help, you know, members out there that are just getting involved and, and starting to do research for the first time, and maybe have had more of a clinical focus with some episodes based around tips to kind of develop some skills in that area.

And so we wanted to start this miniseries with one of the issues we see most often and, and some tips and, and thoughts on how to avoid them.

Fred, a prolific scholar and editor.

He's authored over a hundred and sixty articles and book chapters, edited landmark works like Research Methods and Family Therapy and the Handbook for Clinical Treatment and Infidelity, and he is known for his leadership as the editor of our gold standard journal, JMFT, the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy.

His contributions to the field have been honored with the AAMFT's Outstanding Contribution Award and the AFTA Lifetime Achievement Award.

And joined with Fred, his mentee and now colleague, Dr. Sean Davis.
