And then there was some teasing.

They teased Metal Sonic and Fortnite.

So double robots.

And they also teased the animation.

There's classic Sonic in the animation teaser.

Classic Amy's there, but also modern Sonic.

And hey, Super Metal Sonic is confirmed to be in this animation.

They also gave a date, but I think they gave a date after the fact.

Mm.

I definitely looked at the Sonic with, like, well, Robot Sonic with his weird arms 'cause real Sonic doesn't shoot guns.

Right, that's Shadow.

But I was in a hype circle.

It was Metal Sonic and Eggman in the center.

This is so funny.

A club chaos is the only place where you can go watch things like that happen, where you can see metal Sonic and Eggman at the center of a dance circle.

Yeah.

Yeah, well that's, well that's a non, well that's a non-starter then.

Tom Cruise is gonna voice Metal Sonic, watch.

It, it, it was such, like, a jarring experience.

Okay then, so we ended up going towards a very quick block right there for the remix highlights, and like I told you, we didn't even need five minutes to end up getting these two out there.

So we ended up setting things up with Teenage Nebula going all in for the absolute dance funk thing going on right there, and the Metal Sonic dance skiff just ends up proving the point.

That was for Wacky Workbench from the Japanese version of Sonic CD.

So there we go, workplace in the club.

At the end of the, or second one, it was Shadow.

At the end of the third one, it was Amy and Metal Sonic.

So I'm like, okay, you guys are at least taking your time more and you're kinda ju- just, you know, sticking to what, like...

Like, you know what you are and you're sticking to that, and you're not really trying to go beyond that, and that's honestly pretty smart, I would say.

They had how-to guides for how to properly draw Sonic with Japanese instructions on the side.

They had original sketches of poses for Metal Sonic.

They had printouts of the digital sketches for the 3D games like Sonic Heroes.

Um...

They brought this art.

It spans the entirety of Sonic, not just new or old, but like all of it.

And they had the creator of Metal Sonic there on hand, Metal Sonic and Amy actually on hand.

And he was doing autographs, albeit not when I was there.

I've heard people saying, like, oh, they should re-release Unleashed and have a Knuckles-like edition.

But honestly, I think with Sonic 4 coming out, we're probably going to see Metal Sonic return again.

in a main game.

And it's, so it's kind of fitting.

And even that one did a poor job of explaining it.

I did want to cut in here.

There was back in 2018, a tweet that, by Meikawa Shiro and some planned teams for Sonic Heroes in early development was Sonic Tails Knuckles, Amy Cream Rouge, Chaos E-102 and Big, Espio Charmy Vector, Fang Bean Bark, and Metal Sonic, Ray, and Mighty.
