So yes, I did play Substance, the version of Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty that technically was out for Xbox and PC in 2002, but I gave myself a little bit of a pass here because I'm really only touching on the main campaign, which remains almost fully unchanged and unaltered, and NOT the added 300-plus VR missions.

Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance was maybe the closest we got to... them going multi-platform and even that came out like what two three years later something like that something like that yeah so this is this is not small i i don't i don't want to over exaggerate on this but at the same time it's like it's hard to overstate how big this is What really hits me is when you're reading the Xbox Wire article and it says this is going to expand beyond games to telling new stories in film and television.

That screams to me because that was such a huge part of the original announcement of physics was that Columbia Pictures is going to be involved because, you know, Sony has these film studios and it's going to go beyond just being a PlayStation and Kojima Productions thing.
