Metafiction

Mythology.

Metafiction is a type of fiction that self-consciously draws attention to its own status as a constructed work, breaking the illusion that a story is real, quote-unquote, by having the narrative acknowledge itself as fiction.

This episode includes several layers of this, including, Rich?

Carver Edlund's books on Metatron's desk.

It's like, thank God they do the recaps at the beginning.

Right? Alright, well, today's episode is titled Metafiction, and it is the 18th episode of Season 9, and aired on April 15th, 2014.

Well, I will say I liked kind of the way

they did this episode, I guess, with the storytelling, like little typewriter situation thing.

My name is Tony.

With me as always is Andy, aka Metafictional Meathead.

Andy, how are you?

All right, Tony.
