If you only stop with nonviolence and peace building, then you're not looking at the entire ecosystem.

There are organizations and projects that are focused on interrupting violence, preventing violence.

There in the U.S. is a whole movement around restorative justice.

There are community safety interventions that show up in many, many different ways.

And when I heard about this, I immediately thought of my son.

Yeah, my son Josh.

Because when I was visiting him in Nicaragua where he was doing the Peace Corps, I became aware that that was one of the projects that he was doing there.

So I got in touch with Josh and he said, yes, they have a number of these roscas, if they didn't call them that, in Nicaragua.
