Merlion Park

A 62-year-old woman is set to be charged tomorrow with six counts of participating in public assemblies without a permit.

Police say the offences took place between October 2024 and February this year, including one at Merlion Park.

The woman was previously convicted of similar offences in 2001, 2005 and 2007 and received a 12-month conditional warning in 2020.

Police say she continued taking part in assemblies without permits despite those convictions and the warning.

[laughs] And then we went to the Merlion Park, which is, like, their mascot for Singapore-

Yeah

... and Pate Street.
