So the first time you teach somebody a quad set, let's say you have NMES on them, they're probably contracting with the NMES.

If you're doing it actively, you don't need to tell them to contract harder, right? As soon as they understand the goal of that task, you might go to stage two of that continuum and you might have them do a straight leg raise for blue and a quad set for red.
