MercyMe

It's time for you to recognize what's inside of you.

I'm reminded of a lyric right now from MercyMe, Say I Won't.

"Driving 35 with a rocket inside, didn't know what I had." I want you to see what you have, what you have inside of you in the Spirit of God.

What can't you do with Christ in you? So it's time to surrender the mediocrity that you've settled for.

I think most of us have.

Mercy Me has a song called Say I Won't.

And this morning as I was working on this devotional, the lyrics from this song just came to my mind.

Couldn't stop singing it.

You can get your tickets at Ticketmaster, if you like, or the Tucker Center website, which will probably boot you to Ticketmaster, and I wish it were something other than Ticketmaster, but it just is what it is.

You've got 11 to seven shout out to the boys from Greenville, South Carolina, just a few hours away from me with their debut album and the land of fake belief.

Mute Math released their self-titled album back then.

On the CCM side, you've got music from Mark Schultz.

You've got Big Daddy Weave, Mercy Me, Crystal Myers, who I actually got to meet.

Have you heard of Crystal Myers?

I was very, I was very locked in.

Even that week where it's like I think Kamu got the, uh, the Mercy Me, I was like, look, the b- the people w- back there, the pe- the church campers, they know.

They know.

Mercy Me had the people in a blender for at least a year and a half.

Do you think they're sad they missed out on the VMAs?

The, the V-

Like if you're like, I'm thinking about maybe coming over to Patreon and supporting.

This is the week, you guys, because we cover did Mercy Me make $17 million off of kids in need? Did a businessman confess to posing as God to get funding for his amusement park? And my favorite, did that guy that got ducked up on the plane, was he possessed by a demon? JP Pakluta thinks so.

So you can get a seven-day free trial by clicking the link in the show notes or going to faithadjacent.com slash Patreon.

I'm Jamie Golden.
