Merbein

Degan from West Perth was recently 32.

Tomorrow we have Logan from Merbein, nine years of age.

Today we have Pat from Kyneton, 38.

Matt from Suffolk is celebrating.

Um, but then obviously I went to Lake Primary School as a young kid, which was just up the road from our, our farm.

Um, and then just sort of, yeah, went, went and had a bit of a kick out at Merbein, just with the Auskick and couple of juniors there.

And then, um, sort of just got more into my tennis, to tell you the truth.

Um, and that was sort of like a four to five-day a week thing, where I was, I was training lots and, and was going away on, on weekends, um, to play, and that.

So, um, played in lots of tournaments, uh, and probably just couldn't get to that, that next echelon.

Um, and that's sort of when, yeah, I just sort of footy become more of an interest later in me teenage years, so.

Yeah, you mentioned a few junior games at Merbein, and a bit of school footy at, at Lake Hawthorn out there.

But, um, as, as you got older, yous probably moved into footy a bit more, and the late Paul Tarrant, obviously the father of, um, AFL players Chris and Robbie, had a bit to do with your career.

And, um-

Out in Merbein.

Merbein, that's right.

And then, not content with that, for some reason he drives to Adelaide and he kills Dominic's parents, Rosa and Carmelo Marafiote, at their Woodville North home.

You think, "Why would you even do that?" I mean, maybe they had some knowledge that, that Dominic was going there maybe, or just an insurance policy, but it's exceptionally cruel.
