Menahan Street Band

Yeah.

Um, ahead of that, at the very top there, we had Menahan Street Band, uh, with "Palace of Illusions." Um, that's the opening track off their upcoming album, which is, uh, coming out in a month's time, uh, called Illusions.

Very cool.

Yeah.

You are tuned into 2SCR 107.3 FM, listening to the Back to Funk radio show.

We just came out of some new music from the Menahan Street Band.

The tune was called Palace of Illusions, featuring Brazilian legend Arthur Veracai.

That's from the Menahan Street Band's fourth full-length album, which is due out on November the 13th of this year.

That's the first single from that release.

Before that one we heard from Finn Rees out of Melbourne with a new tune from Finn from his forthcoming release on Mr Bongo.

And yes, I was very, very fortunate, as were many others that we are here to get to see the legend that is Arthur Verakai play out live.

And yes, if you don't know who, Manhattan Street Band, Brooklyn's sole instrumentalist.

And yeah, joining with the Brazilian arranger extraordinaire Arthur Veracai with this beautiful track.

And there's a collab album due out on Daptones on the 13th of November.
