I mean, it would depend, right? So, like, my thought was like, hey, you know, if you had two drummers...

very much like, uh, Kylessa or like when, uh, Melvins were, uh, playing.

So I was like, ah, you know, what would be a complimentary, uh, drummer? Um, and then I'm thinking like, you know, uh, Bill Bumgardner from Lord Mantis, again, like his style is very different.

Um, but I think that him and Martin Mendez would probably have some fun doing some cool stuff, some cool evil shit.

But I had really no idea what I was in for when I eventually got Generic Flipper years later.

For fans of But Old Surfer is the Melvins and Killdozer, which I most certainly am.

So check out, you know, this.

This one definitely deserves to be in the top 100 for my money.

Dale Crover was born in 1967, famous for being the drummer for the rock and sludge metal band Melvins.

Jan Savage was born in 1942, American rock guitarist who was part of the 1960s psychedelic rock band The Seeds, had the famous guitar riff that's on the song Pushing Too Hard.

The band would later be hailed as one of the trailblazers of grunge, the subgenre of alternative rock which developed out of the Washington State scene.

The distinctive sound originated around the mid-1980s, with bands like The Melvins, Green River, and Mother Love Bone.

Their style could be traced back to non-Seattle acts like The Pixies, Sonic Youth, Husker Dew, and The Meat Puppets, or even further away in time and space to the gloomiest, noisiest edges of British post-punk.

Nirvana later popularized grunge to the wider world alongside Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Mudhoney, among others.

On the bright side, Kurt's new amp was a powerful beast.

Windows and walls trembled when Kurt plugged in his guitar to crank out his power chords.

So Rob was unable to make the gig.

And so Jack called me and said, hey, we have this gig playing at the Vogue with the Melvins.

Would you be into playing it? And I'm like, yeah, because I hadn't played for quite a while.

And I always loved playing with Jack.
