Melville Millionaires

So we're going to preview a little bit of that tournament a little bit more.

And we're going to be joined later on the show by a member of the Melville Millionaires, which is nice because they always practice during our show so they can never join us.

But we have Louie Nadeau joining us, defenseman for the Melvin Millionaires, which is nice.

So that'll be fun and a whole lot more.

Let's have a look at the recap scoreboard while we're at it.

The Sask Lotteries look back and, of course, the Elkridge scorecard for Friday and Saturday.

The Melville Millionaires, a big 3-1 win over the Nippon Hawks.

Both teams were hot going into this one.

We got, again, the Canalto Hotel's Friday Night Spotlight all day tomorrow available for you to check out.

Between the Melville Millionaires and the Nippon Hawks, going to be a doozy.

Newsy, appreciate you, as per usual.

Guys in the back, outside of Connor, wearing the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

On the other side, you've got to give hats off to Noah Kraus as well.

Noah just continues to play some great hockey between the pipes for the Millionaires.

And especially the last three minutes in the crowd, Millionaire fans are pretty on their kind of on pins and needles because Battleford had some great pressure, had the goalie pulled, but Noah's been able to make good stops.

And yeah, it's just been great, great hockey.

We talked about it each and every week.

The back end still banged up for the Millionaires and Louis Nadeau and Giel Schmaltz.

They only have one game this weekend, one game...

Last weekend, one game this weekend.

Yes, Warman still leading the way with 20 points, two up on the Weyburn Red Wings.

But, of course, the Humboldt Broncos, Melville Millionaires, also Flint Flon Bombers, still having great starts to the season.

I think Melville hasn't lost in regulation in the last couple of games, but a bit of a struggle for a team that was at the top of the standings a few years ago as the Battleford North Stars with the changeover.

Of course, their coach moved to Humboldt.

Benny, you were also busy this weekend.

Yeah, on the road, three and three with the Millionaires.

And, yeah, successful weekend for the Money Men with five of the six points.

But, yeah, kind of got back late last night and on the road here this morning.

Weyburn got a 5-2 win over La Ronge, again, who's traveling.

They were in Humboldt, then Weyburn, then on Sunday they were in Estevan.

The Melville Millionaires got an overtime win over Kindersley in their first of two games there.

The Humboldt Broncos with a 6-4 win over Melford in a battle of the horses.

They stay hot.

The Yorkton Terriers got the win number one on the weekend against the Melville Millionaires in the Battle of the Highway 10 rivals, of course, 3 to 1.

Nipawin, uh, may be a little surprising because we, this was, uh, the first real game with all the new players in for Humboldt, uh, after, you know, the trades and then people m- you know, going back to Flin Flon to get their stuff, coming back, new guys, et cetera.

Oh, they played in the, they played in the home, they played in, uh, the home games as well, though.

Yeah.

For sure.

Uh, the Melville Millionaires, Yorkton Terriers, they split their weekend.

Uh-
