Melfort Mustangs

A good old-fashioned hockey trade, folks.

And then we'll get into the other one, which was the Humboldt Broncos and the Melfort Mustangs.

We'll talk about that in a sec.

But let's go with the first one, Melville and Nipouin.

They have a cushion.

The Melfort Mustangs, Flin Flon Bombers, and Waving Red Wings all tied for second.

Humboldt is also right there.

Of course, they beat La Ronge this weekend in their solo game of the weekend.

Yeah, okay, let's move on to Wednesday's game.

Excuse me, the Melfort Mustangs with a 4-0 win over the Battlefords North Stars in this one.

Battlefords, man, it's hit a nine-game losing streak now.

You don't love seeing that.

They're 3-0-1 in their last four.

They're just quietly going about their business, handling business, doing their thing.

In typical Melfort Mustangs fashion, they don't score the most goals, but they also let up What is that, the third and least amount of goals? So it's kind of what we're used to seeing in a sense with Melfort.

But they're doing it just nice and quietly, going about their business, doing their thing.

Battlefords is still searching for answers, and we'll get into that in a second.

And then the Melfort Mustangs, they said, we had so much fun beating Flin Flon in their building, we're going to do it in ours as well.

What?

Yeah, exactly.

Speaking of doing the little things, Flynn Flon and Melfort played each other again.

The Weyburn Red Wings were up in La Ronge.

They had a 5-2 win on Friday.

Of course, Yorkton's basically tied with Melville at this point.

It's very early.

Uh, the Flin Flon Bombers and Melfort Mustangs, uh, lead the way in the UPL Division.

And in the Nutrien Division, Warman still hangs on.

That's probably where Benny will be.

Melfort Mustangs are at the Battleford North Stars.
