Mel Fisher

It's crazy.

Also, there's Mel Fisher, who I think is magic.

So basically, Mel Fisher found like $100 billion treasure off, I believe, the Florida Keys.

The problem is it took him, I think, 17 years to do it.

Lost his fortune, lost other people's fortune, lost, you know, child, wife, all horror story of, again, bucking Bronco and ups and downs.

And so the villagers that get surprised by these raiders, they're leaving massive amounts of money, and no one knows that he buried it out by the terebinth tree or whatever.

And so, like, I think of stuff like this where, you know the name Mel Fisher? Not at all.

I lived up in the Treasure Coast of Florida, so he was kind of, he was famous, more famous, I guess.

But in 1985, a diver named Mel Fisher goes and he's diving and discovers a Spanish galleon.

And inside of this boat that sank, there's $500 million.

Wow.

He stumbles across it.

through no effort of his own, we assume, but it's not earned.
