Susan Egan was honored this year at D23 as a Disney legend, the voice of Meg in Hercules.

Mm-hmm.

also the original bell in beauty and the beasts on broadway oh i didn't know that and she was also um she was also in the the disney channel original film gotta kick it up uh which is one of my favorites it's a good one oh sincerely underrated um she was asked on the blue carpet at d23 hey you know kingdom hearts 25 years are you gonna be back for may

I think what's so funny is people don't really realize it's been 30 years since I recorded that character.

And so to get to kind of step into a booth again this year to like do some more voicing for it is really, really funny.

And also the team is great because sometimes I'd be like, honestly, Meg wouldn't say that like Meg, Meg would kind of twist that around.

They're like, what would Meg say? And they would let me do it.

You meet Milo Thatch from Atlantis, which I thought was like a pretty deep-cut Disney property that you don't really see much these days.

Megara from Hercules was in it, and Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.

This will release on Switch 1 and Switch 2 coming this November.

Onda Onda Kaya's Tasty Tale is a 3D platformer built around kind of music-based puzzles.

But it is in fact the Keepsake Sea.

So this is a new paid update coming in November, uh, that includes sea-based areas, so there's mermaids, uh, Milo from Atlantis: The Lost Empire, um, Megara, uh, Captain Jack Sparrow.

They just called him Jack Sparrow, and I thought it was important that we, I'd, uh, acknowledge him as a captain.

You know, I've gotta give it up to Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Let me tell you, Megara from the movie Hercules wears one garment the entire movie.

And sports caster person we got to be part of the crowd we were sitting in the 200 levels I don't know I didn't actually watch the full Disney plus presentation so I don't know if you could see us but we had all these little we have these cards taped to our seat when we first got there and so we it was a very interactive part of the.

of the event which was fun jerry bruckheimer who is a director and was involved in such projects as pirates of the caribbean came out he was introduced by orlando bloom which again that was not on my bingo card of people that i would be seeing at d23 susan egan was also honored I learned a lot actually about Susan Egan throughout this week and I knew that she was the voice of Meg from Hercules and I knew that she was the original Belle for Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, but I did not know that she is very... involved in a lot of production things I think she's a big driving force of why we're seeing so many princess concerts like the one that we saw you know the one that just happened in Disney California Adventure but there's been other like princess concert series type things and Why we're seeing more of the princess voice actors kind of stepping into the.

Stepping into a little bit more.

So I'm a huge fan of her.

The Susan Egan is the voice of Meg from Hercules.

And she also played Belle in the Broadway version of Beauty and the Beast.

So she, I mean, in our minds and after learning more about her, definitely deserves this Disney Legend Award.

in Hercules.

Yeah, goat Right? And honestly, these characters are very similar.

the same person, and they kinda look similar.
