But years later, Heracles is now a grown man, and he has a pretty good life.

He has a wife, her name is Megara, and they have children, sons.

They have a home, and he's pretty happy.

A nice little detail that Disney did because the, you know, the, the damsel in distress in Hercules is named Meg, and that's, you know, drawing on Megara, his actual wife.

Kind of cool.

And then Hera steps in to ruin Hercules's, uh, beautiful little life.

Baby Hercules strangles them with his bare hands, ties them up, flings them away, and it is the first sign of what he is, that he's not just a regular mortal, that he is something greater.

He grows into the strongest man alive.
