And two new songs are hitting our chart this week, and I cannot wait to play those for you.

But if you're looking for some fresh music to check out, then that is the spot for you.

Just head over to our website or on social media and check out New Music Friday every week.

coming up well as i mentioned we had a couple of new ones hit the chart in the beginning of our show but we still have 17 more to go this weekend and in those 17 one of those songs is making a pretty big leap it's that new one from megan woods so you'll find out where she lands and we also have some more stories behind a few of the songs from the artists themselves so stick around and hear what happens on the countdown this weekend

How long have you been listening to 20 of the Countdown magazine? It's time to call.

We're kicking off The Countdown with a new debut to the chart, and it's from an artist whose career took off a few years ago, and this is her third time being on The Countdown already.

It is Megan Woods, and here she is to tell us about this new song hitting our chart.

Hey, it's Megan Woods, and my song, Heaven Down Here, came from looking at the world around us and feeling that ache that so many of us carry right now.

We may be more connected than ever, but so many of us still feel alone, overwhelmed, and homesick for something that this world can't give us.

Heaven Down Here is a cry for the presence of Jesus in the middle of all of it.

...

Cain, Megan Woods-

Mm-hmm

...

We all want to have heaven down here.

We'll hear about that delivered by the awesome voice of Megan Woods.

We've got flood rising water We've got smoke in the sky Desperate mothers and fathers And kids with tears in their eyes We're crying out We're crying out Never been so connected Never been so alone Broken and misdirected

Oh,

What's yours?

Um, The Truth by Megan Woods.

Ooh, this is a good one.

One of my faves, too.
