They had a decent AVP League season, didn't make the playoffs, but then on the AVP itself, they finished the year nine and two.

Their only losses, Kristen Cruz and Taryn Brasher, and Kelly Chang and Megan Kraft, both of those come in at the Manhattan Beach Open, where they took third.

So they played two AVPs.

They qualified for the AVP League.

Took a couple 13ths in Manhattan, but hadn't really made a, a big push in a major event.

Here she makes that big push playing with Molly Shaw.

They come out first thing Sunday morning, 8:00 AM, where they upset top-seeded Kelly Chang and Megan Kraft, beat them in three.

They march all the way into the semifinals, take a third.

Uh, could, has the talent to be an up-and-coming guy for USA, and so I'm intrigued to see how he looks in kind of a, a big boy main draw with a good player in Sean Cook.

As far as the women goes, number one for me, can Kelly Chang and Megan Kraft do it again? So a week ago, Meg kind of got that big monkey off the back, won a major tournament in Hermosa.

Yes, Kristen Cruz and Taryn Brasher were not there.

Yes, Melissa Humala Paredes and Brandi Wilkerson were not there.

Uh, so a huge shout-out to Mark for putting on that event.

A decent prize money for the winners, 15K to split for Kelly Chang and Megan Kraft and Andy Benesh and Taylor Crabb.

And so just before we get into any of that, just a, a massive thank you, a shout-out.

Um, I, I just, I did not see a world in which Kelly Chang and Megan Kraft wouldn't have been wild carded in if they didn't make it.

I didn't see a world where, like they, they sort of maneuvered a, a weird route that Kristen and Taryn were somehow automatically in.

After Montreal, maybe after Laguna, I think you'll start to see U.S. teams making those changes.

I think the women's side, I would anticipate some changes there.

Obviously, I don't think Kelly Chang and Megan Kraft will change.
