You might be surprised how many free or easy to get into conferences there are in your town.

Go to meetup.org or a local conference website and see what's happening in your neck of the woods.

Think of a favorite meal you have at one of your favorite restaurants and see if you can recreate the recipe at home.

I know it's three days past Labor Day, but hopefully no one was actually working on the day because we have a lot going on in the weeks and months to come.

That includes our Taste Radio meetups in San Diego and San Francisco that are happening next week.

in San Diego at the BevNet West Coast branch on September 15th.

Here's a trick.

Structure your 30-minute session.

Prices, significantly up.

Same pattern in Meetup, WeTransfer, Vimeo.

We see this across the entire portfolio.

Deep cost cuts and prices up.

So for example, if you wanna connect with more, just, you know, moms or whatever, you can go to things in your community that would be that kind of thing.

So maybe you play pickleball, maybe you go to networking events, maybe, and there's business owner moms in that group, or maybe you join, you go to meetup.com and you see if there's a walking group of moms or some, something like that, or even just being active in Facebook communities where there are moms and And if they click on your profile or want to add you as a friend, they can.

Right.

But the whole point is you get to be in front of these kinds of people and you're not going to necessarily be marketing your business in, you know, if you join like a pickleball group of friends.

We had a Discord server and I was doing these randos conversations just with, you know, just talking to people about getting their story and so on and so forth.

And then some of the people locally were like, we should do a Jordan Peterson meetup.

It was like, I've been so dramatically unsuccessful as a pastor.

I didn't want to say no to these people, but in the back of my mind, I thought, all right, we'll do that and no one but you will come and that'll be it because that's what happens.

And then because of the channel.

People would want to do that locally.

So I was sort of helping these little Jordan Peterson meetup groups start.

But then Jordan Peterson goes away because he's ill and COVID happens.

We got Yoshi and the Mysterious Book.

We got Meetup in Bella Bella Park, the Mario Wonder expansion and all that stuff.

And this time...

We just got straight no Mario on the fucking docket right now.

You can create an event in LinkedIn.

You can create an event on meetup.com. You can create stuff in Pinterest.

There's So many different spaces.

You're probably wherever you're hosting your retreat.
