Mediumship

It kinda took a delay because of the TV filming, but it's gonna be a lot about this like two-eyed perspective on spirit communication.

Mediumship became a lot more forgiving for me, and I started looking at times where my mediumship maybe felt more quiet or a little bit more subdued, or I didn't feel as connected.

I don't use the word disconnected in my practice.

Maybe disengaged and reengaged, but never disconnected.

At Medium, you can actually receive these messages yourself and be open to them.

But what do you think is one of the biggest things that people expect from a Mediumship reading when they sit down with you? I think in

general, I think that there is an overwhelming expectation of what may happen which can ultimately lead to extreme disappointment if they don't, one, hear from the person that they want to hear from, and two, don't have the script come out of the medium in the way that they've played it out leading up to their appointment.

So one of the things that I will always say publicly and when I'm doing my private sessions, I'll always say, I just need you to know that I'm kind of OCD.

Psychic information can feel like I'm receiving.

Mediumship can feel like I'm connecting and receiving.

Channeling feels much more like I am allowing.

Even as I say that, I don't think that's a perfect definition, because these things do overlap.

I mean, it just all flooded open.

We are starting or we're forming the legacy, the Mavis Batilla Legacy Academy of Mediumship, because this system, the whole medium philosophy, the structure that goes in with it, it's not something you can take in a weekend course.

Mediumship in general is a weight because you don't want to be communicating something that always has felt like there's this huge responsibility to communicate correctly and to not miscommunicate things.

and create harm through miscommunication.

Uh, to us, mediumship, uh, a lot of this comes from our teacher, but mediumship is a term used for spiritual development.

Development.

Mediumship is a symptom of oneness, of oneness consciousness.

Telepathy, extrasensory perception, precognition, and spirit communication are all symptoms of oneness.

When you experience oneness and you unify with the whole, the symptom is that you experience empathic transmission for others, that you experience shared thoughts, that you experience, uh, that you can be a vessel for the other on the other side because they're-
