Medical statistics

I had a look in a bit of space robotics.

But then I also applied for a couple of medical statistics programs across a couple of UK universities because I was really interested in this idea of taking mathematical biology into a slightly more real world concept.

And that was how I ended up going from maths to mathematics.

medical statistics, which I guess was the first step towards where I am now.

But if you'd asked me at the start of my first year of my degree, absolutely, I didn't have a clue that any of these options existed.

Oh, wow.

And so the honest truth is that I looked to Leicester because I was going to be close to my family support network if I needed it during my degree.

At the time, Leicester was also highly respected and still is, apologies, Leicester colleagues.
